Humble Beginnings

We’re not going to hide it, Nova is the new company in town! And we’re proud to be chasing the American Dream.

Our business began right here in Omaha, NE, summer of 2024 (pictured are a couple of our first projects). Our founder, Jake, decided to leave the corporate business world and bet on himself. Although it has been uncertain at times, it has proven a worthwhile and joyful endeavor.

For Jake, fencing is a labor of love and an opportunity to leave a personal mark on the community that he’s so proud to call home. As the owner/operator of Nova, Jake takes every call, delivers every proposal and is in-person on every installation. Unlike larger companies who may only have hourly employees, Jake’s on-site presence will give you the reassurance you need that every detail will be accounted for.

    Jake Matthew

    Owner/Operator

    Jake is an Omaha native and graduated from Millard North High School in 2016. From there, he played football at the University of South Dakota while studying Business and Spanish. (Roll Stangs, Go Yotes! 😉)

    Jake loves his family, travel, speaking Spanish, playing guitar, listening to podcasts and staying active.

    Jake is passionate about connecting with people and he loves the process and detail that goes into building quality fences.

    (And while I love being business professional, writing that in third-person felt strange…) 😅
